After months of constant changes, here’s the final version of the cover design for Chronicle 1 of Dilaailah, illustrated by me. I feel it better exemplifies the tone of the episode. I’m still currently working on Chronicle 2. But keeping up with my school studies is important, so I have to find time on the weekends to fit writing and art in, but oh well.
This story is now available on Wattpad for a free read. If you enjoy it, you can download it at Amazon for $0.99 to get the digital copy for your Kindle, iPad, e-reader, etc. Thanks for reading!

What’s with all the funky patterns?
I remember having a teleidoscope when I was about ten years old. I took it with me everywhere from the doctor’s office to recess. And as I’d sit alone in the mulch beside the playground fence, the other children’s chatter and giggles became the soundtrack to my endless fascination with my favorite toy. So now it seems as if my creativity is in retrograde!
A few days ago I started working on a series of new digital pieces I’ve named “The Happy Kaleidoscopes”. They’re a product of my “Happy Artist” piece and are a real joy to make.

I’m realizing that some of my sketches are brainchildren of both mental turbulence and music… one and the same? Maybe…

Here’s a little not-so-surprising secret of mine. I sketch a lot when I’m having what I’ll refer to as, “mental turbulence”.
