Drawing Work

Okay I am definitely going to finish this drawing today and post it to my art website. I’m going to start my portfolio site. And after I’m done with this one, I’m going take my time on the next one and be patient and careful with it, but I’m not going to take as long as this one anymore.

New Short Story Projects

Right now I'm working on more stories to publish to deviantArt. I often times feel swamped and dazed and confused with work, because I am working on soooooo soooooo many projects of different genres and styles and productions at once, and all on my own, this with schooling and working on ways to finance my work (so that I can start making money from them), it’s a bit overwhelming sometimes. I haven’t posted anything significantly new to dA lately because I’ve been investing so much of my time in the Marilyn drawing and as exhausting as that alone has been is enough to make me step back. However I have had the strong urge to start drawing other subjects. I’m also feeling like I need to step away from the “Dreams” contest at deviantArt, because my mind gets on total brain freeze when I try to accumulate a way to represent my dreams/goals of the future. I know what I want and can visualize it, but how do you draw that all on paper? Especially with no references? Hmm…

But anyway, more fiction is on the way, Black Beautie, Tuan, and plus some new stories and Planet Chero tales.’

My website has yet to begin construction :( I can’t wait until I can get it started though so that I can operate from my own space on the web and gather attention to my own network instead of the contest for pageviews and comments at deviantArt.

WIP2 – Marilyn

This is the next bit of the Marilyn drawing completed, so I guess it’s about 50% done? I hope it turns out good, because this is a REALLY exhausting drawing! I mean I am so often tempted to start working on other things. Plus I need to get to working on my “Dreams” themed project for the dA contest.

 

I’m also finding myself getting frustrated with this drawing. I may need to step back from it for a while, or something. My spirit isn’t quite meshing with working on this :( I hate to say that, because I’ve already squandered enough time by not working on this. And people are asking when they can see what I’m working on or when I’m going to be done with it. I don’t know right now what I’ll decide to do.

WIP1 - Marilyn

This is a work in progress; a realistic drawing of Marilyn Monroe. I’ve been working on it for a few weeks now, but that’s because I have been only doing a little of it here and there at different times. I’m going to work on the flaws in it the best I can, because I kind of see a few. But I anticipate that It’ll look much better when I’m finished with it. I’ve been procrastinating a bit with this, and I want to start working on other drawings, but I seriously want to finish this first and am not going to do anything else until I finish this.

Right now, I’m considering doing requests, which I haven’t done before, so that will be new and different for me. I hope I don’t change my mind by the time I’m done with this lol. But right now that’s what I’m thinking on.

Live from Live!

Well just typing out my blog from my windows live writer. I wanted to give it a test run. On this note. I am going to only start blogging about professional matters from now on at this blog. The blog has the PZCherokee brand so therefore, it is a business blog and I’m only going to talk about matters that involve my businesses. Well that’s about it for now, I’m going to get a bite to eat.
